September Release Notes

September 30th 2026

Advance Notice

From October 7th 2026, OPCS procedure codes that were discontinued when the standard moved from 4.10 to 4.11 will be marked as inactive in the platform. OPCS 4.10 was officially superseded on March 31, 2026, and we've been working with customers to transition to 4.11.

Assessments that already reference these discontinued codes will continue to display them. If you have ADT integrations sending these codes, they will still be accepted and processed.

For customers without procedure code integration, these codes will no longer appear in the manual selection dropdown in the clinical portal so cannot be applied to assessments after this date. If you have questions about the impact on your workflow, contact your account manager.

Improvements

ASA Grade Protection

ASA grades can no longer be downgraded by patient form submissions. Previously, if a clinician set an ASA grade on an assessment and then sent forms to the patient, their answers could trigger a lower calculated grade that would overwrite the clinician's entry. The system now always retains the higher of the two: what was already on the assessment or what is calculated from the new submission. This change has been rolled out to all customers.

ASA Grade Disabling by Product

ASA grades can now be disabled entirely for products where they are not clinically relevant, such as MyCardiology. This is configured on a per-product basis. If you want to disable ASA grades for your product, contact your account manager.

Clinical Notes History Version Tracking

The clinical notes audit dialog and PDF exports now display against the form version in which the notes were saved, rather than the current form version if they differ. A new indicator in the audit dialog tells users when the currently displayed form version is different from the latest saved version. This has been rolled out to all customers.

Archived and Binned Assessment Attention Flags

Attention flags on assessments can now be acknowledged even when the assessment is archived or binned. This feature is in the process of being rolled out to customers and is currently available in all test portals. Remaining live portals will have access by October 12th.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed alphabetical sorting on dashboard columns that should sort by name (Asessment Group, Tag, Specialty, and Consultant). This is a global change to all customers. No action is required.
  • Fixed an issue where the clinician link dialog or in-person code dialog would disappear when accessing a previously completed form. This is a global change to all customers. No action is required.
  • Improved the reliability and resilience of our internal queue worker services to better handle network outages. This addresses the reminder sending delays some customers experienced recently. More details are available at status.ultramed.co.
