February release notes

Features

Consultant Integration

Consultant codes (GMC) are now supported via ADT messages. This allows the Consultant field on assessments to be integrated, and the consultant to be automatically set (or cleared) when an assessment is created or updated.

As with all other integrated fields, this makes it read-only in the portal, and updates are recorded on the timeline as they are received from the hospital system.

The user management section of the portal allows GMC codes to be assigned to consultant users when the feature is enabled.

This integration can be enabled per-customer as part of implementations. Customers should contact their account manager if they want to make use of it.

Variable Clinical Notes Width

The side bar where clinical notes are entered has always been very narrow, which could cause usability issues when entering long text (in free-text fields, for example)

We have made two changes -

  1. The default width is now 1/4 of the available space instead of a fixed width. On most screens this means the default size of this column is now slightly wider than before.
  2. There is a new button that toggles the width between 1/4 and 1/2 of available space to provide even more visibility:

This feature is in the process of being rolled out to customers via test portals.

Bug Fixes

  • BMI Calculator in patient app now retains 1 decimal place when calculating and rounding. Previously it would only display whole numbers. This fix is a global change to all customers. No action is required.
  • Tweaks the casing of integrated โ€œTCI dateโ€ update events in the timeline to be consistent with the casing of the event when the action is performed manually. This fix is a global change to all customers. No action is required.
