Automatic nightly archiving (to replace monthly bulk-archives)

We now have the ability to configure the portal to automatically perform archiving of completed assessments based on time since last updated or time since TCI.

This offers several benefits over the current monthly process:

Timeline event reflects automated nature of the process. Exact wording of the detail line is configurable per-customer if desired but by default we include the information in the archiving rule (see image below)

Account managers will be in contact with customers currently using the monthly bulk archive to move them over to this system. Customers wanting to make use of this feature should contact their account manager to discuss enabling it for their tenant. There are no immediate changes without configuration.

Background Changes

Replacing in-app notifications backend

As part of our continuous improvements to our platform we have developed a more efficient architecture for our in-app notification centre

This is primarily an internal change and should have no impact on the day to day usage of the notifications feature. The new UI and functionality of the notification centre is the same - the communications architecture has been simplified and no longer talks to multiple different services.

However, there are two minor changes that users should be aware of:

  1. There will be a migration process performed for each tenant where we pull the last 3 months of notifications from the current system into the new one before switching over. This means notifications older than 3 months will no longer be visible in the notification centre.
    1. Note: the migration process includes any user preferences where they opted out of notifications
  2. The email address that any email notifications are sent from will also change from [email protected] to [email protected]. This brings the system in line with the address that invite and message emails are already sent from.

The migration of all tenants will take place during May ahead of the older notification infrastructure being retired.

Bug Fix: Address race conditions on assessment field updates

A bug was reported where changing an assessment status and tag in quick succession would occasionally result in one of those being set back to their previous value. The cause of this issue has been addressed and deployed to all customers.
